Harvest Church
Harvest Church is a diverse community of believers in Umhlanga, made up of people from different cultures, ages, and backgrounds. We are part of a wider global family of churches and are united by a desire to see God’s Kingdom established on earth.
We gather, serve, worship, pray, and grow together as a church family. Our heart is to help people know God, find freedom, discover purpose, and make a difference.

Core Values
These values help shape how we follow Jesus, serve people, and build community together.
God is generous, and we aim to reflect His generosity in how we live and serve.
Every person carries value and should be treated with dignity and respect.
We value faith-filled steps, honest community, and authentic relationship with God and people.
We make room for the Holy Spirit to move in power and point people to Jesus.
We celebrate courageous faith and bold obedience as we seek God’s Kingdom on earth.
We intentionally build family and community because we have been welcomed into God’s family.
Our Family & Friends
Harvest Church is part of Church of the Nations, a global family of churches advancing God’s Kingdom around the world. We are connected to Freedom Hill under the leadership of Louis and Edna Els from Victory Church, Jeffrey’s Bay.
Harvest Amaoti is a church plant from Harvest Umhlanga, led by Derrick Gumede and his team. They meet on Sundays in the Amaoti area.
Our Beliefs
We believe the Old and New Testament scriptures were inspired by the Holy Spirit and are the divine rule for Christian faith and practice.
There is one God, infinitely perfect, Creator, Preserver, Governor of all things, and worthy of worship.
We believe in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, undivided in essence and co-equal in power and glory.
Jesus is fully God and fully man. Through His death and resurrection, eternal life is available to all who believe.
Salvation is by God’s grace through repentance, faith, the blood of Jesus, and regeneration by the Holy Spirit.
Water baptism is a personal response of faith and a sign of the believer’s death, burial, and resurrection in Christ.
Believers are invited to receive the power of the Holy Spirit and to live lives that glorify Jesus.
Jesus equips His Church through living ministry gifts so believers can be built up and prepared for service.
The Lord’s Supper continues as a meaningful act of remembrance, unity, discernment, and hope in Christ’s return.
The Church is commissioned to carry the gospel of the Kingdom into the world and extend God’s Kingdom.
